What we process
All tools run entirely in your browser. Images you upload to the capsule generator or asset validator are processed on your device and are never transmitted to any server. Your settings, checklist progress, store copy drafts and license key are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only.
What we don't do
We don't run analytics that identify you, and we never sell your data. Account data is only stored if you choose to create an account. Free users see advertising served by Google AdSense, which is described under "Advertising and cookies" below; Pro users see no advertising at all.
Third parties
The pricing page can fetch daily exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (frankfurter.app), which receives a standard web request from your browser. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Purchases and license validation are handled by our payment provider acting as merchant of record; they process your payment details and email under their own privacy policy, and we receive only what is needed to issue your license.
Analytics and email signup
If analytics are enabled, we use Plausible, a cookie-free, EU-hosted service that records aggregate page views without identifying you or storing personal data. If you subscribe to guide updates, your email address is stored by our hosting provider (Netlify Forms) and used solely to send you new guides; email support@shipindie.dev to be removed.
Advertising and cookies
Free users see up to two clearly labelled ad placements served by Google AdSense. Pro users see no advertising at all.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we show a Google-certified consent message before personalised ads are served, and your choice controls whether advertising cookies are set. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification and erasure. Since we hold no personal data on our servers, erasure is in your hands: clear this site's data in your browser. For purchase records, contact the payment provider named on your receipt.
